Description
The farm is located on the top of a small hill, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and fruit trees. It is situated between Pisa and Volterra, not far from the small village of Morrona (190 m. above sea level, 288 inhabitants), a town of ancient Etruscan origin. There are about 7 acres of land, devoted to olive groves, vineyards, orchards and pasture for two mares, Sissi and Luna.
ACCOMODATION:
The house consists of 2 apartments each equipped with satellite TV and air conditioning, each with two bedrooms, two apartments:
- Sunflower
a kitchen, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. In the kitchen we have a comfortable sofa bed with orthopedic mattress which, if any, can become a comfortable double bed.
- Poppy
kitchen, large double bedroom, twin bedroom, two bathrooms. In the kitchen we have a comfortable sofa, if necessary, can turn into a double bed.
Each apartment leads to a private garden where you can cook on the barbecue grill and some great lunch or dinner in the shade of the pergolas exclusively available to you.
AMENITIES:
Adjacent to the house there is a private covered parking, laundry room and swimming pool (10 * 5 m) surrounded by a border of roses and olive trees.
Ping Pong and Table Football available.
TO VISIT:
an excellent starting point to visit various places of Tuscany by a straight fast is connected to Florence and Pisa, 15 km from Pontedera train station and from here you can easily reach (about 1 hour) major cities in of artistic and cultural sea and beaches of the Tyrrhenian coast.
Just 10 km away from Lajatico, the birthplace of Andrea Bocelli, where in July held a concert with international guests.
The hills are picturesque villages where the beauty of the landscape is also the possibility of eating in typical restaurants enjoying the local produce and drinking the wines of this area (the village is located on the wine route of the Pisan hills).
