Why the name “Via degli Dei” (Gods’ itinerary)? Because this route passes through places with evocative names: Monte Adonis, Monzuno (Mons Jovis, Mount of Jupiter), Mount Venere, Mount Lunario (Lua was the Roman goddess of Atonement).
